Leonardo DiCaprio and James Franco had a busy award season weekend, temporarily leaving LA to attend the Santa Barbara Film Festival. James was honored with the outstanding performance of 2010 title for his role in 127 Hours, but it was his Pineapple Express costar, Seth Rogen, who was on hand to deliver a kind introduction. Seth complimented his performance as hiker Aron Ralston, and then James took the stage to say, "I didn't know I was going to be talking tonight. I thought Seth Rogen was going to come up here and tell a few jokes, and I'd get an award or something, and then we'd have dinner!" James had yet another occasion to dress up last night when he joined the other handsome men on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, though he lost out in the best actor category to The King's Speech's Colin Firth. Leonardo, meanwhile, hit the festival yesterday to present his Inception director Christopher Nolan with a "modern master tribute." It was the latest evening out for Leo and Christopher after they attended Saturday's Directors Guild Awards, but soon Leo will put the fancy evenings behind him in order to focus on his J. Edgar Hoover film that starts production in about a week.
