Emma Watson Debuts Her Short Haircut While Harry Gets a Girl

Emma Watson caught a taxi in NYC yesterday sporting a drastically shorter haircut. She chopped off her locks since attending Glastonbury with her boyfriend in June and she's taking her fresh Summer look to kick off promoting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in the Big Apple. She and the other principal cast missed their recent panel at Comic-Con, though fans are more than eager for any details about the action packed first half of the final HP installment. She's also getting ready to return to Brown in the Fall, while back in London her costar Daniel Radcliffe was just spotted for the first time with his new girlfriend!

I don't like it. i liked it a lot more before when it was longer but not really long. i hope she starts to grow it back. I love her but i want her to have her old hair. You Know You Love Me, xoxo, Gossip Girl

It's too bad.. but this doesn't suit her at all. I admire her guts, and anyone else's for braving this sort of haircut, but a lot of the time, it just fails. Not everyone can be like Carey Mulligan.

I usually like shorter hair on people but I'm not really diggin' this cut on her. It's growing on me though. I wonder if her hair being wavy is making it difficult to stick down and in place.

I'm actually considering on going that short. It is so hot that it will feel nice to have your hair out of the way. I think she probably did it because of the weather.

She has the face for it! It looks really cute in the other photos, and really brings out her eyes. This one's just unflattering! That's the way it goes when the wind blows. I used to have a pixie cut, and while it was adorable sometimes, there are definitely some bad photos of it caught in the wind.

i'll never understand why folks choose to go this short - i guess she's trying to reinvent herself as more mature or something but i'm not sure that i'm sold on it. i really liked her longer hair but it's her choice and i'm sure that this look will eventually grow on me.
