George and Elisabetta Indulge in Italian Ahead of Their American Travels

George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis had a date night in Italy yesterday with dinner at Cernobbio's Il Gatto Nero. They've been all about their quality time lately, and the one-year-strong couple have even sparked engagement rumors. George and Elisabetta will soon trade Europe for the US when they attend the Emmys together so he can accept a humanitarian honor. The awards show is next Sunday on Aug. 29, conveniently timed for the Sept. 1 release of George's new movie The American.

Hi, it's me #49 (now shown as #50 ?!) again. #53 and #56: Thanks, you understood that I wanted to express that it is not okay to pour torrents of abuse over anybody in that harsh way. #58: "Why not telling the truth about her?" - Okay, but why people have to do that in that nasty and denigrating way, people can do that also in a more realistic/factual way. I think it is not "factual" if you call somebody a wh*re, bi*tch and so on. Beside all of that, do you know her personally? Or did you collect all your wisdoms only by media and/or on the part of any third parties? Media distributes such a lot of crap and untruth....and if George is the 10th celebrity she dated, who cares? Other woman are also searching for Mr. Right, but they can do that privately without media. However, what we should do today is to respect other people and their lives, but asking for such morally aspiration seems to be too much, right?

Canalis is completely uninteresting and pathetic, IMO. All she can talk about is what we are supposed to believe is a romantic relationship with Clooney and how she thinks people are jealous of her. She's a loser and is long overdue for a reality check.

#49: give us a break. you have no agenda other than to promote the edited/revised version of canalis and her questionable past. if only you, she or anybody associated with the lot of you knew how to speak the truth, this ugly mess would be over by now. she would be like pamela anderson or someone else of questionable repute. but no, she insists on being something she is not. the bloggers and readers on the web who make nasty comments about her do so because we've been reading and watching and taking bicarb. if someone is vile and gross we say so. many do not buy the relationship as real. she has condemned herself with her own words saying in print that she was looking for a ticket to fame and stardom. she couldn't get their by herself. she has a history of linking herself with those in the media. why not try telling the truth about her? an angle you and your minions probably never thought of. at least it will be fresh. people might buy her as a tramp who is enjoying her 15 minutes, but get over yourself if you think anybody will buy her as an actress, or anything else that is legitimate. she is just not bankable in that way. she was right about herself. she sold the only thing she had that was worth selling. she better hop to it, because those goodies look about ready to expire.

Well maybe one day George will have a relationship with an intelligent, gracious woman and I hope they will be happy and people will say nice things about them both. I'm sure George is way too busy working to ever read this kind of stuff, and even if he did he probably would take it with a grain of salt because by now I'm sure he has a pretty thick skin. Right on #49. None of us would want our "friends" posting rotten stuff about us on their Facebook sites or whatever, so why do people post rotten stuff here? One person starts and then another and before you know it everybody's doing it because it seems acceptable. Well it isn't and good for you for saying something about it. Just because you can anonymously drop your garbage, it's still wrong to litter. Karma comes to everyone!

#49, that's no lady at his side, and I'm not the slightest bit jealous of her. I simply don't like arrogant, lying, cokehead skanks. If she cared about George at all, she would not have damaged his reputation by using him to get the job on Leverage. It's painfully obvious that all she cares about is publicity, attention, and money. Even the interviews she does for pr make her sound horrible. All she talks about is her supposed relationship with George and how his fans are all jealous of her. I guess that's because she has nothing else to talk about. What a pathetic, uninteresting woman. If George were to have a real relationship with an intelligent, gracious woman, I would be very happy for the both of them. #50, lol, if I didn't already know that word, how could I look it up? All these stupid and hateful comments about George and Elisabetta. Some of you (his fans) must be so jealous of the lady to be at his side - or you (Clooney haters) are jealous about his money/lifestyle/VIP status or what ever. What ever she did before in her life (I also saw some stuff on YouTube and the most of that stuff is nonsense and her tattoos aren't good looking I have to say.....), but she can't wipe the slate clean. For Clooney fans: Cool down, she has a life before George Clooney and he isn't a saint. For Clooney haters: Don't you have any other problems? Reflect the following for a short moment: If you have to live his life, how would you feel to read all these lousy comments about yourself (gay, her pimp, comment of #32) or to be followed each and every minute by paparazzi? If you have to live her life just right now........let us say you will get to know a man named George Clooney, with all this public interest in him and his whole life and fell in love with him ...... and then you have to face all these bad comments like "horseface, wh**re, trash, bi*ch, gold digger" and so on. How would you feel? Comfortable? Happy? If you can answer this with a YES then you very sick. If the contract was originally for six months and he renewed it after the first six months, George was horribly misadvised and mistaken in doing so. Now that the second six months are over, if he takes Canalis to the Emmys, it will be the worst mistake yet of both his professional and personal life. People can forgive the first six months and maybe even the second six months, but not taking her to the Emmys. Taking his father would be the elegant solution, and if George ignores that solution and takes Canalis thinking it will somehow help his professional life, it will damn both his professional and personal life. It's difficult to watch a man with so much going for him destroy himself. Joseph Campbell said it best: "I even have a superstition that has grown on me as a result of invisible hands coming all the time - namely, that if you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in your field of bliss, and they open doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be." If you continue trying to manipulate things rather than following your bliss, George, then you are a lost man, and no one can help you.

I think that there is no agreement between Elisabete and George, we must accept the fact that George is in love, and that, unfortunately, loves these women, waitresses, prostitutes ... in this whole story, I think Eli is a happy woman. I do not believe that George in LA, and will surely be on Eli Emmy Awards.
