Ryan Gosling kicked off his St. Patrick's Day by shooting The Ides of March alongside his director and costar George Clooney in Detroit, but the guys were able to wrap things up on set by the evening in order to start their holiday festivities. Even Ryan's constant companion, his dog, got in the spirit with a green shirt — how well do you know your celebrities wearing that color? Ryan and a few friends stopped at a Whole Foods to pick up ingredients for dinner back at their hotel. It was a low-key night of fun for Ryan, who's been known to enjoy local amusements while working in new places. He'll likely be able to see more of his temporary city, as production is expected to continue there into early next month.
