James Franco turned the tables on the paparazzi yesterday when he landed at LAX and hopped on a shuttle bus to pick up a rental car. The jet-setting actor was off on his latest round of traveling between his work on the West Coast and grad school on the East. He was just in NYC for a few days, potentially avoiding his interpersonal issues with fellow Yale students. James was last in California just a few weeks ago, and he raised some interest in his personal life by spending time with supermodel Agyness Deyn. He was up late into last night working with some friends, though James seems to have been distracted from their meeting by bench-pressing a cat named Sammy. James's trip to LA was a couple days too late to join his Freaks and Geeks costars at the Paley Fest reunion, though he did participate by sending a video greeting in which he joked that he was busy preparing to host the upcoming Emmys and ESPYs with Anne Hathaway.
