James Franco was back to work on Rise of the Apes with the actor Andy Serkis yesterday afternoon. During breaks from the action, James was spotted taking a rest and catching up on his reading. The bookish actor is prepping for his Fall arrival at Yale, where he'll start studying for a PhD. in English. He was rumored to also be teaching class at the Ivy League school in early 2011, but the university said he's actually not going to because one of his academic proposals was shot down. Regardless, James will be plenty busy will the upcoming releases of Howl and Eat, Pray, Love.
