Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson were hand in hand yesterday for a Sunday lunch date in LA. They headed out of the R+D Kitchen and walked to their car, with Jessica showing off her legs in a tiny pair of cutoffs and high heels. She put on a happy face for her latest meal out with Eric, though things with her family have been difficult lately since her sister Ashlee filed for divorce from her husband Pete Wentz. Jessica has business to keep her busy, though, and just launched a six-piece prom collection with David's Bridal.

I agree that outfit is horrendous.. But all the fat and 'tree stump' comments..Women need to stop tearing each other apart.. it's too bad.

Well. To be fair, (not that I condone wearing chunky heels with short shorts) had she worn flats, her legs would have looked even shorter and wider. At least put on some jergens on those legs.

How sad. She must think the legs the magazines have photoshopped thinner for her are her reality. Why else would she go out in public like this. Somebody needs to tell her to cover up those tree stumps because the magic of photoshop isn't available outside a photoshoot.

I used to think that all the fat was concentrated on her upper body and that her legs remained relatively slim. Now I see how wrong I was. Hockey Princess, spot on, it is the most unflattering type of outfit she could come up with for her body type.
