First Pics: Johnny Depp Back as Jack Sparrow For Pirates 4!

Johnny Depp was decked out in his Jack Sparrow gear yesterday as he got to work on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in Hawaii. Penelope Cruz stars alongside Johnny in the movie and though she didn't join him on the beachy set, she has been spotted getting in pre-filming bikini time with Javier Bardem. Johnny's family is out on the island keeping him company during his off hours, and they celebrated Father's Day with a scenic helicopter ride. Johnny's currently all about the fourth installment of the Pirates franchise, but he tackled animation in the just-released trailer for Rango.

Oh please, the reason why these movies made so much money and because they love it so much, is because of Johnny. And may I also remind you that Johnny was nominated for an Oscar for Captain Jack.. Johnny is awesome as Jack. He's the reason why the movies are fun to watch. But I do agree with you when it comes to Penelope.. Don't want her in it. But I think it's good that Orlando and Keira are not in this one. I was tired of their shitty love crap... and Keira are too good for that part.. Didn't really fit her in the end..

The movie would be terrible. No Orlando, no Keira, no Gore. Will and Elizabeth are the characters that made me a fan of this movie. I mean, what Disney is thinking? Depp is boring: nothing new to his character and his acting and ...Penelope Cruz? What are they filming, Sahara? No, thanks, I'm not watching it. I am a Pirates of the Caribbean fan, not this cheap version for getting Brukheimer and his buddies rich. (

I wasn't interested in part 4 since Orlando and Kiera weren't going to be a part of it. I must admit these pictures got me pretty excited though. Maybe I'll just see it for Johnny's sake.

Jack Sparrow is back! Hope they add some surprises this time. Just saw JD in Alice in Wonderland. He was incredible as always, as were the rest of the cast except Anne Hathaway who was a bit weak but it could have been the writing/ directing. Anyway...looking forward to this movie!

ahh I'm not on board for this movie, I see zero need for it. But I am obsessed with Depp. He is wonderful and I know it'll be a great ride :) .. He's fantastic as Jack Sparrow <3
