Kate Winslet and her children were literally on the run this morning in NYC. The actress joined her daughter, Mia, and son, Joe, in a quick sprint across the city as they tried to make it to school in time. Kate has been at home in the Big Apple lately prepping for the debut of her HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce. She's enjoying a brief break now that the last episode has aired, but Kate has several projects ahead of her in 2011. Not only has Kate finished work on the big-screen adaptation of the award-winning play God of Carnage, but she also plays a doctor in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming thriller Contagion, which also stars Matt Damon and Jude Law. Meanwhile, Kate is keeping busy as the new spokesperson for Lancôme's L'Absolu Nu lipstick.
