Katie Holmes Stops to Hit the Holiday Shops

Katie Holmes was out solo in LA Saturday to visit her gym and then do some holiday shopping at Barneys — if you're in the market for perfect presents, make sure to check out our gift guides! Katie had time to work her way through her list during a break from working on Jack and Jill, which she was recently in Florida shooting with Adam Sandler. Katie, Tom Cruise, and their kids are wrapping up their latest jet-setting year, and there may be one more family vacation in store if they ring in 2011 with their annual Telluride getaway.

she's a bore - guess the contracts almost up so she's getting a bit more freedom...Anne Hathaway is awesome, Katie always seems like she just popped an Ambien and is fighting sleep

She spends her life shopping, spending all of Tom's millions on clothes, and still has no idea how to dress. Loved Anne Hathaway's take on her on SNL, btw. Katie really *is* that dazed and vapid in every interview, that's what made it so spot-on funny. (So it was very kind of Anne to later pretend she was only mocking Katie's old Dawson's Creek character.)

it's funny that she wears those socks - most girls wear the little ones to the gym. anyway, it's nice that she's keeping fit/busy during the holiday season and i hope that we finally get to see pics of her and tom together since everyone wants to say the worst for them.
