Jennifer Garner and Katie Holmes joined forces this afternoon at Variety's Power of Women Luncheon in LA. Katie's in California after her recent trip to Prague, where her husband, Tom Cruise, is filming Mission Impossible 4. Both actresses attended today's event to bring attention to their particular philanthropic missions — Katie was there on behalf of her arts education organization Dizzy Feet Foundation, and Jen went with a representative of a group close to her heart, Save the Children. Diane Lane also turned out, bringing a guy into the mostly female mix by posing with her Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps star husband, Josh Brolin. Anne Hathaway and Eva Mendes, meanwhile, rounded out the star-studded list of attendees at the meal.
