Blake Lively and Leighton Meester got together in NYC to shoot Gossip Girl yesterday morning. Leighton was able to share her time in front of the camera with Hugo Becker, who's making a return as her royal love interest, as Blake shot her scenes solo. In addition to her cute costar, Leighton had another reason to smile after her new movie The Roommate took top spot at the weekend box office. She was especially busy over the last few weeks promoting the film on the West Coast and also in the Big Apple, so all of her and costar Minka Kelly's hard work seems to have paid off. Blake, meanwhile, hasn't been ignored when it comes to accomplishments — she was recently ranked number one on a list of the world's most desirable women. I totally agree with you! I also think that Leighton is a more dynamic actress

Although Blake Lively has been promoted as an up-and-coming star for years now, by the Weinstein company (i.e. Vogue) and others, I believe Leighton may have a more successful career ahead of her. Blake Lively has one voice and three facial expressions and I have the feeling I am watching Serena van der Woodsen no matter which movie she appears in. Her over-acting in "The Town" was painful. Go Leighton!
