Pictures of Leighton Meester Filming Gossip Girl in NYC

Leighton Meester covered up in a plaid coat on the set of Gossip Girl with Penn Badgley and Zuzanna Szadkowski in NYC this morning. Her small screen pals, Blake Lively and Chace Crawford, have already returned to filming and they've welcomed a new cast member, Tika Sumpter, to their crowd. Leighton's back to work on the series after taking a break to promote her other project, Country Strong, with a stop by The Tonight Show and an appearance at the People's Choice Awards. The film had a disappointing weekend at the box office and a less than favorable review from BuzzSugar, despite all of her and costar Gwyneth Paltrow's hard work.
