Brian Austin Green surprised Megan Fox with an adventure to the Big Cat Encounters Ranch in Pahrump, NV, on Friday. The pair are still enjoying life as newlyweds and shared their sweet smiles with a pair of tigers at the sanctuary. Do Megan and Brian realize that they are guilty of perpetuating cruelty and abuse of these tigers pictured with them. The man who runs Big Cat Encounters RAnch in Pahrump, MV, Karl Mitchell, has been arrested for animal abuse on numerous occasions. Karl promotes his establishment as a sancturary and decieves people into believing that he has the animals best interests at heart. Do you know what happens to most of the baby lions and tigers these celebrities pose with? By the time they are 3 months old they are too old and are disposed of. Ask yourself - do you really think these establishments can afford to house and feed all the grown tigers and lions they breed? Of course not. These establishments constantly breed their few adult cats (breeding pairs) so they can have a "fresh" supply of cubs. Once the cubs reach 3 months they are too big and unmanageable to allow near children and or in public places. They are getting to big to house and cost too much to feed. They are doomed to the following: sold to other disreputable individuals (on-line) who know nothing about the needs of these magnificent creatures. Many live the rest of their lives in dank basements, never seeing light or feeling grass under thier feet. Others are sold to oversea dealers where they are tortured and or sold for their meat and fur. Some of those that remain in the US are also sold to restaurants for "lion burgers" or to Canned Heat farms (mostly in Texas) where big "macho" men can shoot them at close range (they are in tiny pens where the "hunters" can walk right up to them and shoot). This practice has been condemned by every ethical hunting group in the US. Please know this - THAT NO REPUTABLE ESTABLISHMENT BREEDS EXOTICS!!! IF YOU ANY ESTABLISHMENT THAT HAS BABIES - DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM! IF YOU THINK THE BABIES ARE CUTE - REALIZE THE MINUTE YOU PAY EVEN A PENNY TO SEE OR TOUCH THEM THAT YOU PERSONALLY ARE DOOMING THEM TO A LIFE OF MISERY. PLEASE STOP THIS HORRID INDUSTRY AND PUT THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE IN JAIL. IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
