Megan Fox Says Her Sense of "Satire" Backfired — Buying It or Give Me a Break?

Megan Fox is on the June cover of Allure and inside she's once again claiming that all the rumors about her racy past and overly sexy persona aren't who she really is. This time she says she's done trying to use jokes in interviews, "I was really open when I first started. Trying to be lighthearted and have a sense of humor and engage in some sort of satire sometimes. It did backfire to a certain extent, and it became too exhausting. I still have the same sense of humor, but I have no desire to express it, really, anymore, because I've always been f***ed for doing so." So what do you think about Megan's sense of humor backfiring – buying it or give me a break?

Beautiful but dumber than a door nail. Yes, she is "new" to the business that is more of a reason to have good PR people working for her or she should have watched, listened & learned while keeping her "satire" to herself.

Megan is never funny when she tries to be. Like in the PSA she did with bf, Brain Austin Green; it was labeled funny but the funny never came. With a mug like that she could go far in HW...if she focuses on her craft....but comedy will never be her forte, maybe it's because she is too beautiful to be seen as funny.

I think that in past interviews she did try to go the funny/sarcastic route, but of course it backfired - she always ends up sounding like an idiot. She simply tries too hard to create a rebel persona (à la Angelina Jolie back in the day) and puts people off as a result.

you Megan fannatics are such haterz and cry babies. You hate everyone who dare having another opinion let it be the slightest one (compared to the vitriol other stars get). Just because she is beautiful, like countless of other actresses doesn't give her a pass to critics. Nobody love everyone. Evry celebrity gets his/her share of love and hate. Get over it and let people express their disagreement on a forum. This is gossip. If you can't take the heat don't play the game !

she seems to be taking the Jessica Alba route, they want to be seen as sexy(to appeal to the male gaze), but also self deprecating so as not to shun female fans.

sssh, Megan just keep the trap closed...the more she speaks, the less I find her attractive and she's about 3 quotes away from looking like "Sloth" fr the Goonies...
