Pregnant Natalie Portman Glows — and Flashes Engagement Ring! — at People's Choice Awards

Natalie Portman kept her pregnant belly covered up in a loose blue Jason Wu dress as she presented at the People's Choice Awards in LA this evening. She covered up her engagement ring as she headed out, but flashed the sparkly diamond when she took the stage. She and her No Strings Attached costar Ashton Kutcher had the honor of giving out the show's biggest and final honors, the best picture statue. The prize went to Eclipse which meant Natalie and Ashton were joined at the podium by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. Natalie is kicking off a long award season where she is already a constant among the nominations for her work in Black Swan. In the midst of that she'll be promoting her raunchy comedy, which means even more red carpet looks to find that accommodate her bump. Natalie arrived in LA without her fiancé Benjamin Millepied, though hopefully he'll be on her arm for some of her big nights.

They all want their privacy somehow, she had to make the announcement since she will eventually show. She's not chunky at all. She looks great, that's what's our soceity...always judging or I should say..misjudging.

She doesn't look chunky at all, she looks beautiful. =) As far as the ring behavior goes, maybe it's a nervous habit. Isn't she a bit of a shy person to begin with? I've never seen her speak a lot or try to be in a lot of photographs. She looks great!

I sometimes twist the actual diamond part of my ring to the other side of my finger. It's habit. She could be doing the same.

Wow, anon1, could you be anymore insulting? NP has always been extremely private, and so what if she doesn't want to show off her ring to the world? I personally think she looks beautiful here, and she glows. Both the engagement and pregnancy look good on her. Stop being such a dbag.

She looks several months along, a little chunky. But isn't it odd that she's uncomfortable letting her engagement ring be seen? There's something very strange about the behavior that is beyond privacy. Hope it's not shame. Makes me think she has second thoughts about her engagement.
