Nicole Richie and Joel Madden each carried a kid on a cute family outing in LA yesterday. The designer and actress kicked off the weekend with a visit to the celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson's studio, toting a hot pink Balenciaga bag and sporting a leather jacket. On Sunday, she and Joel Madden brought their little ones Harlow and Sparrow to a toy shop. The couple shared some quality time with their children after a busy week of parties and pulling some playful April Fools' pranks with friends on Twitter.

And people wonder why celebs and their kids often have issues. Can't the family go to the store without every move being photographed. Classy to do this to kids --- its not like the kids asked for this attention. I don't know why its ok to invade kids privacy like this. Its bad enough how celebs are followed 24/7 but getting their kids too?
