Reese Witherspoon presented the Academy Award to Christian Bale before heading to the Vanity Fair bash where she met up with fiancé Jim Toth — check out tons of red carpet and fun pictures inside the event! Reese sipped on champagne and chatted with Elizabeth Banks at the party. He didn't come along when she hit the Oscars red carpet wearing a black and white strapless Armani Prive gown. Reese took the stage solo during the show, and missing from her side was Water For Elephants costar Robert Pattinson, who was rumored to be a surprise guest, but is busy filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver. He did have some presence during the evening in the form of the funny auto-tune the movies segment.
