Zac Efron was greeted by a fan frenzy as he returned to his NYC hotel last night, and he faced a similar scene on his way into Live With Regis and Kelly this morning. He posed for a pic with the talk show hosts before sitting down to talk about Charlie St. Cloud and share childhood family photos. The movie finally comes out this Friday, but that doesn't mean he's ready to rest — in addition to multiple projects with his new production company, Zac just signed on to star in an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks's The Lucky One. Zac took the weekend off from working to take in a few Broadway shows solo since his partner in crime, Vanessa Hudgens, hasn't joined him on the East Coast.
