A beard is defined as "the collection of hair that grows on the chin, cheeks and neck". So yes, what Ben has is still a beard, just a short one.

I used to have such a huge crush on Brad when I was younger. But now it's pretty much gone. He isn't aging very well. I'm not really a fan of Ben but he is very handsome and looks good with the beard.

Ben looks way better with a beard or scruff than Brad Pitt. Ben is really ageing very well. As for Robert Pattinson whom I "love", the beard doesn't suit him at all, he looks great with scruff but awful with a beard. That ZZ Top beard he is now sporting is gross and will soon but shaved off anyway as he will soon start filming Breaking Dawn.

Yep Brad in any photo, sporting hair cut in any style. I can see how woman would think Ben is a handsome man too, of course. But here's what for me: Every since the Scott Peterson trial I have been confusing him and Ben Affleck. I'm not trying to make anyone mad or offend anyone either. I guess somehow they have similar features, to me anyway.

I think Brad is good looking but I don't like him with a beard. Ben on the other hand looks good with or without a beard IMO.
