Do American Idol Judge Shakeups Affect Whether You Watch?

There are lots of changes happening at the American Idol judging table. Ellen DeGeneres announced yesterday that she's leaving the show, and today it looks like Kara DioGuardi is on the way out, too. Jennifer Lopez is said to be negotiating a deal to join the program, and Steven Tyler, Jessica Simpson, and Justin Timberlake's names have been thrown into the running. All the upheaval comes as Simon Cowell just wrapped up his own last season. It's a lot going on, but tell us — do judge shakeups on AI affect whether you watch?

American Idol should be canceled, it is not going to be the same without Simon!

No Simon = No Idol, so I will no longer be watching now that he has left. There is not a big name in the world that can acceptably fill his seat. Simon was the main reason I watched, so if he's gone, I'm gone.

I LOVE Simon and now that he's gone why keep watching ,even though it's abot finding the next American I dol the judges play a big part,well not Kara i hope she's gone for good,Ellen love her to bits but she was an awful judge and Randy I just like him.

forget about hiring any new judges and cancel the damn show already. does anyone even watch it anymore? the show hasn't produced any successful artists since Daughtry, anyway and he didn't even win.
