Have You Moved Past John Mayer's Playboy Interview?

John Mayer ruffled some feathers earlier this year with the racy remarks he made in Playboy. After taking some time off from the spotlight, making a teary apology, and restricting his use of Twitter, John finally spoke about the uproar his interview caused before performing this morning on The Today Show. He said to Matt Lauer, "I learned. Don't talk just to see if you have something to say. Talking just to see if you have something to say is a really bad way of finding out you had nothing to say . . . I done goofed." John seems ready to put the episode behind him, but tell us — have you moved past John Mayer's Playboy comments?

Everyone gives him such a hard time although so many other celebrities say things which should not be said and no one goes crazy over it. Hes apologized and he hasnt said anything offensive since. Hes just human, we all make mistakes. Love you Mayerr.

No-I did not move past the PB Interview. He is a narcissistic. I don't believe that will ever change. I agree Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson used him as much as he used them. I don't understand why his filters didn't stop him from saying all that other garbage. I believe the racist beliefs are embedded deep down in him. He is racist through and through. Why was the name David Duke on the tip of his tongue. Garbage in-garbage out.

Give me a break..the most intelligent thing he's ever done is reveal his true intelligence with the 'sarcastic' comment "I done goofed." The guy is an idiot hillbilly with shitty music and a douchebag face and teeth.

Yeah, he sold out his ex's just like they sold him out. They'd talk about him in interviews too to build an image and sale whatever they were saling. He said he never slept with anything other than white women, but would start dating women of other races. He said he did not have a hood pass otherwise he could say the n-word all the time and he knows he can't. Nothing wrong with saying that. Aniston and Simpson just chased him down cause he's a rockstar, being with him just fed their insecure ego. I'm sure he's not bad in bed though. He has gotten too egotistical. I think he was egotistical before, but went on an I don't care Ill act however. I think it's cause he realized his career is solid. He has an extensive fan base that love his music. Acting a total fool isn't going to demolish that in just a couple of interviews.

don't really care about the playboy interview...he's ruined himself by his full of himself, obnoxious, and tacky behaviour and attitude... If he sticks to what he is good at , music, and avoids all the other garbage, he'll be fine. So disappointed that his head got so big.

It never bothered me because I have excellent reading comprehension skills. I was much more offended by his choice of women. His songs are smart and real; so it was a surprise that he would date the opposite. That's about it. I also believe in freedom of speech and would be the last person to cover anyone's mouth regardless of what they have to say.

Say what you want about him but if he can work his penis the way he works that guitar; there is no mystery that Jennifer Aniston crawled back to him after being dumped by him the first time, only to get dumped by him again. And she is still saying she would consider taking him back. The sex must have been great.
