Jake Gyllenhaal is in NYC promoting Love and Other Drugs, but apparently he's had time for fun too. He was supposedly spotted getting cozy with none other than Taylor Swift backstage at SNL on Saturday and yesterday he brought her back to his sister Maggie's neighborhood, Park Slope, for an afternoon of hand-in-hand browsing. Both stars are single at the moment, and Taylor's romantic past with older men has been in the news due to her revenge song about John Mayer. Jake seems like a great guy for either a rebound or a serious relationship, so tell us what you think of the potential love connection — good couple or random match?

Oh, please. She's almost 21, people. And 9 years is not that big an age gap. They both deserve a good, happy relationship. They're both funny, smart and sweet. And they both seem like the romantic-type. If there's chemistry too, I think it could work. Oh, and as if Taylor needs publicity for her new album. It's expected to be the biggest selling album of the year. And she's Taylor frickin' Swift. Her name was already on the front page of every news site. And she's going to be on every talk show this week. Didn't people say that Jake/Reese and Taylor S/Taylor L were publicity stunts too??

The cops better get him on statutory rape than! - What I'd like to know is this - Why do so MANY people believe EVERYTHING that's written by who-knows-who for whatever reason. This sounds so bogus as to be funny, but in reality is sad because of the number of posters apparently believing it. It's a STORY, people! Use your brains.

Meh...I think they make an odd pair. Taylor definitely seems very immature for her age. I feel like she lives in a fairy tale world. She's really starting to annoy me and, if this rumor is true, it'll just push that annoyance over the edge...I love me some Jake Gyllenhaal. ;)

Persoanly I think she nees to stop writing songs about her breakups- eventually no one is goign to want to touch her, she makes herself look foolish and immature by crying about each real person, there are some things that need to stay private and your big mouth taylor is going to keep you looking like a sour child, grow up, be a lady, act like a lady and stop whining about what goes wrong and making it a song!

he goes from too old for him to too young for him. i really like jake (minus prince of persia), he's definitely a list. taylor seems pretty immature to me, but at least she's dating up! at least she will write a song about him when they break up. hopefully it will tell us whether or not he is gay! haha.
