Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears Finally Comes Out For Fresh Air

Jamie Lynn Spears dropped a bomb on us with her shocking pregnancy at the tail end of 2007 but she has been in hiding ever since. Now we finally get our first peek at the pregnant teen holding her GED book while supposedly leaving an adult education class in Kentwood, LA yesterday. While Jamie Lynn can barely lift her head up in her oversized sweatshirt, momager Lynne was there to provide just enough of a smirk to show she is getting somewhat of a thrill out of all of this. Well at least Jamie Lynn is staying out of trouble unlike another Spears we know.

I just hope jamie lynne can be a better mom than britney. Britney might love her children but she isn't mature enough or responsible enough to look after them unless she get some serious help and NOT from Dr. Phil.

You people say that lynne is a bad mom,and yes fine she might not win any mother of the year awards that for sure but she didn't make britney get married and an annulement in the same weekend. She didn't make britney shave her head,and she didn't make britney baracade herself in her home with her 2 sons.And she certainly didn't tell jamie lynn to get herself pregnant at 16 years old for more publicity. You seen three pics of jamie lynn and her mom coming from school but i seen 8 pics. In my opinion she didn't have a smirk on her face if you seen the other pics you would know that she was actually crying.She was talking on her cell phone and you could tell from the expression on her face and the tissues in her hand.A parent can only do so much after a certain age it all up to the chid.

"...show she is getting somewhat of a thrill out of all of this..." i don't know where they get this, but how is being pregnant at 16 a thrill. especially since you got the entire world on you, and clooney making a comment about you. the only positive thing that i can look at this is she is at least getting her GED.

I can't believe some of you. She's pregnant at 16 and some of you are worried about what she is wearing and cutting her down for getting a GED. Why? She has messed up but she is doing something about it instead of freaking out, doing drugs and showing off her privates like her sister. JL may have a chance to pull through this with a high chance of not ending up like Britney. Also, since when is it okay to put down someone for getting a GED?

I get that she is pregnant and all but she doesn't have to wear jeans that look two sizes too big for her. Maternity wear too early. She sold her story for enough money that she can buy clothes during the different stages of her pregnancy.

pantalaimon - completely agree. It would be amazing if she would just get herself out of Hollywood, and get an education. But that won't happen... and certainly not if her mother has any say in it - what kind of mother is pleased that her 16-year-old is pregnant and not going to school like normal kids? Jamie Lynn looks SO young - heck, she IS so young... and even after spending a summer working in an inner-city hospital's Labor & Delivery, my heart still breaks when I see someone so young (and often younger) in her situation...

"i just don't get why the hell she's keeping it..."Umm, some people don't believe in abortion and have the right to choose. Just because she is young doesn't mean she can't still make a life for herself.My sister graduated high school with her class after giving birth to twins and she went on to college and has a career and she survived, people do it everyday.

As for the baggy clothes thing, I'm not pregnant ( T.T ) but I often wear very baggy stuff when it's winter XDAnd I'm pretty sure she keeps dressing as a teenager 'cos after all she *is* a teenager ;)

"i just don't get why the hell she's keeping it..."well excuse me, but that is really a stupid, mean and unneccessary comment. of course the situation is unfortunate, but it does not mean she should get rid of the baby. it's always up to the woman, even if she's that young, if she wants to keep her child.
