Scarlett and Natalie Go Sheer and Shiny For Their Big Premiere

Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman slipped into a couple of sexy numbers for the red carpet premiere of The Other Boleyn Girl at the Berlinale Film Festival today. Scarlett wore a more simple dress to balance her teased hair and dramatic eyeliner, while Natalie made it very clear that she's not the prude good girl she often gets pegged for. Once again, the girls talked about how well they got along on the set and how much they respect one another. Natalie said, "People keep asking if the rivalry was real but it was the opposite because we just liked each other so much. It was such a rare opportunity to work with an actress my age who I much admire."

This is just a difference of opinion and taste, really--nothing to get too worked up about, I think. I agree that from what I've seen of Ellen Page, she is an excellent talent and potentially will develop into something quite extraordinary, though I haven't seen anything she's done besides Juno (obnoxious writing, but wonderful acting).By the way, I agree that it's silly to assume that the only reason someone might criticize an actress is because they're jealous. :)

Ashley Daigh thank you. People are are just so immature to assume someone has to be jealous if they aren't kissing ass. Why would I be jealous of Scarlett's boobs? I have bigger boobs than her and a smaller waist so there. ha ha. Anyway people freak out about Scarlett's boobs only because 90% of hollywood has no boobs so they see Scarlett and are like "OMG an actress that actually has boobs". Ha ha where I come from it's no big deal. And I look at the face. And really take away the blonde hair and boobs and Scarlett is just a plain version of the gorgeous Charlize Theron. Now that's a woman to envy not Scarlett. Scarlett's not ugly by any means just very very overrated.

please it's so stupid to assume someone's jealous just because they don't agree that someone's god's gift! I'm just telling the truth they aren't great actresses. i'm surprised some of you people here actually think they are great talents because everywhere else people se what I see and that's they are wooden onscreen. Just watch Scarlett in Match Point...exactly. Just because they aren't trainwrecks like Lindsay Lohan doesn't mean we should give them a medal and make them seem better than they are. You think they are the two most talented of their generation? Well I say no way. I think their acting is very wooden and yes I do think they get by because of their looks. That's why they get attention and roles. There are young girls that are far more talented then these two. Let's get some more Ellen Page's that actually have natural talent. As far as looks? Natalie is a very cute girl but Scarlett Johansson is nothing special. She's plain it wasn't until she started dying her hair blonde and pushing her boobs out and trying to be Marilyn Monroe where she got all this attention. She tries too hard. Charlize Theron, Kate Winslet these are the girls that are real talents and beauties.

Natalie definitely took a risk with that dress. I can't say I like it exactly, but...she works it. Do we know who made Natalie's dress? Perhaps it's a Zac Posen...she tends to wear him a lot and it's something I could see him making.

I hardly think Scarlett's dress is "simple"... it is way too puffy. I don't think she's fat, but I do think the dress is unflattering to her figure. And the hair and makeup... not her best look. I have nothing against her, but this is just not a good look for her.

Natalie is a great actress and I personally don't think Scarlet has any where near the talent that Nat has. Someone said people are jealous of Scarlet's boobs...LOL (ridiculous statement, boobs have nothing to do with acting ability)...I just had my (natural) triple D's reduced to a "C" and no, I'm not jealous of any one's boobs, I love the ones I have now :)

let's just admit that these girls are really talented. They have proven their acting abilities with the films theve done individually. maybe we dont believe much in the potentials of young hollywood actress due to some drunk-driving-coke-using celebrites who parties like there's no tomorrow. I do believe that these girls are rare actresses whom I think would stay in the limelight for a long time. They're like the A-List Veterans following he likes of Cate Blanchett, Julia Robert, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, and so on and so forth.

Mostly because they don't get caught up in the 'scene'.On a side note (and I posted a blog about this)...does anyone thing Natalie looks pregnant in these photos? Not necessarily because she has a bump, but the way she has her hand placed on her belly.
