Monaco's Prince Albert married Charlene Wittstock this afternoon in a civil service! Afterward, Albert and Charlene kissed on the balcony of his palace so that well wishers below could share in their happiness. Charlene is now the Princess of Monaco, a title that Albert's mother, Grace Kelly, once held. She dressed for the big morning in a pant suit from Chanel. Their vow exchange took place in the lavish home's Throne Room, though tomorrow's religious ceremony will be held in a courtyard. Much like Kate Moss's nuptials over in England, Albert and Charlene have stretched their celebrations into a multiday affair. This evening, the 7,618 citizens of Monaco were invited for cocktails on a square outside the palace and a show from the musician Jean Michel Jarre. Tomorrow, however, is just for their A-list guests. The Eagles have even been hired to perform for famous face like Naomi Campbell and Karl Lagerfeld as well as various heads of state.
