Corey Haim passed away this morning in a Southern California apartment, the cause of death being an apparent overdose. At one time perhaps the biggest heartthrob in the world, Haim struggled with addiction for many years. His mother was with him when he died, and he had been sick the past few days. Known for his work in movies like The Lost Boys, he most recently starred in a short-lived reality TV show with Corey Feldman, The Two Coreys. Our thoughts are with Corey Haim's friends and family.
i read this earlier and it's a shame to hear about it. we all thought he was doing better recently. my thoughts go out to his friends and family!
Poor guy...I remember some article about him consuming 85 Valium a day at one point...horrible...RIP to the "cute Corey"
sad but not surprising
Sadness. Lindsay Lohan, consider this your zillionth warning!
So sad...
Well it's not like we didn't all see this coming though, sad but true.
R.I.P
My condolences to his family and friends.
Special message to Corey Feldman: hang in there...this has been a rough 12 months for you but you can stay clean and keep the faith and survive. Peace, love, happiness and faith.
Wow, you finally got around to posting this? I read it on pretty much every other site before I saw it here.
I guess it's hard to fit in actual news when there's so much Robert Pattinson related non-news to "report".
It's very sad, I was Corey obsessed in my early teens. He was my Rattinson.
He was a great child actor. How sad he couldn't beat the addiction.
RIP Corey Haim!
In other News..Corey Feldman was found wandering the streets of LA Haim-lessly
I have no pity for him. How can he expect to live a long life while abusing drugs? He destroyed his life with his own hands.
RIP Cory, and I think its sad to say wish it was Robert Pattinson, I feel sorry for you, think about Cory's family right now not a comment about an actor that has nothing to do with this. There are too many overdoses right now, not just actors, what about the kids that are bullied an overdose because they don't feel that they can turn to anyone and talk. To wish death on anyone is tru;y sick.
RIP Corey Haim!
Loved you!
People die everyday, what makes this guy more important than anyone else?
The original comment about the cause being an "apparent OD" was another opinion based on old facts and announced without verification. The authorities have said there were no illegal drugs at the scene, which was his mothers apartment. The man was trying to get his life in order, trying to get clean, and all anyone can say upon his early death was basically "it figures"? What a sad commentary on all of us...

In the late 90's I was at a comedy club in vegas sitting front row... In came Corey and his friends... The bouncer was going to kick us from the table center stage, but Corey stopped him and we all sat at the same table. .. It was a small nothing in his life, but it was a cool thing to do.
Ummm...Corey who? Should I know this man? Just some 15-minutes-of-fame dude again.
RIP
Yes I read about this on coreyhaimdead.net
i like his movies.R.I.P corey
corey who?
It's amazing how people believe everything the news reports on these people! They are judge and jury when it comes to causes of death before any report has been released.Poor family has to see that crap about their loved one.Trouble is when real reasons come out it will be somewhere on back page if at all, especially if it was other causes, like natural or from them being sick.
Cory's family does not have to see "crap" posted on here about his death. I doubt very much they jump on the internet to read this stuff. I am sure they are doing what normal people do when a family member dies. Not surfing net for news about it. OK , so let's say he did not die from overdose. He struggled with addiction most of his life ? Bet his death was from at least part of the backlash of addiction. Ehhh. blaaaaaaaaaaaa.
