She has been notoriously tight-lipped about her romantic life, but it was revealed that Jessica Chastain's boyfriend has connections to the fashion industry: he's an executive at Moncler. However, Jessica will be taking her grandmother — not boyfriend Gian — to the Oscars, where she is up for the best actress prize. When it came to makeup trends, the New York Fashion Week Fall 2013 runways were alive with color. High-voltage hues in the form of fuchsia lips graced models' faces at Diane von Furstenberg. Miley Cyrus and Rachel Zoe helped celebrate with Mario Testino at a big pre-Oscars bash in LA. It was a private reception toasting Mario's new exhibit at LA gallery Prism, which features many of his most famous photos. Plenty of his admirers were on hand yesterday, including models Alessandra Ambrosio, Jessica Hart, and Liberty Ross. Marisa Tomei and Kim Kardashian made the rounds as well. Kim was happy to finally cross paths with Mario, tweeting afterward, "Fun night! Met one of my favorite photographers, Mario Testino!" According the New York Fashion Week runways, Fall 2013 hair trends will likely lean in the direction of braids, ponytails, and '90s grunge. In short, there's something for everyone: slicked-back ponytails like we saw from stylist Orlando Pita at Michael Kors, milkmaid braids spotted at Alice + Olivia, and plenty of grungy texture, as lead stylist Paul Hanlon created on models' strands backstage at 3.1 Phillip Lim.
