Reese Witherspoon took her son Deacon out to grab a bite to eat in LA on Sunday. Reese smiled and held Deacon's hand as they made their way into the Belwood Bakery and Cafe in Brentwood. Reese's food run wasn't the only item on her agenda for the day: she was also spotted filling up her car with gas at a local service station. While Reese was in LA, her Mud costar Matthew McConaughey was busy premiering their new film at the Sundance Film Festival. At the event, Matthew opened up about his longtime friend Lance Armstrong's recent confession to doping, which he said made him "pissed off." Fans of Reese and Matthew can get a sneak peek of the film by watching the new Mud trailer, which was released last week.

I see that. Interesting. Maybe a nip and tuck thing but I thought for sure she would be at Sundance with Matthew McC. for the Mud premiere since she went to Cannes to promote. Hmmmmm........Maybe she ran into a wall this time! HAHAHAHA

@kissmestupid You noticed also? I did a triple take. Other sites have better face pixs showing that bruise but as you said, no one is saying anything about it. WTF????

No mention, anywhere, of the big bruise on the side of Reese's face and the the obvious reason she's been wearing hoods and brimmed hats. I was wondering why she wasn't in Utah for the promotion of her film Mud when she flew all the way to Cannes last year for it. I think we can see why now.
