Reese and Jim Make a Splash With Ava and Deacon at Disneyland!

Reese Witherspoon and her family visited the "Happiest Place on Earth" Saturday. Reese, Ava, and Deacon all wore mouse ears as they explored the park with Jim Toth and a few extended family members, including Reese's brother John. The whole group got a special escort from a Disneyland employee as they weaved through the crowds to check out their favorite attractions. Reese, Jim, Ava, and Deacon braved Splash Mountain and shared a bobsled on the Matterhorn. Jim and Ava sat out the teacups, though, and watched from the side as Reese and Deacon spun around and snapped pictures of the fun.

The family of four has been hanging close to their LA home lately, but Reese did take a quick trip to Nashville to hand out a statue at the annual CMA Awards earlier this month. She's switching gears from presenter to honoree though, since she was nominated for a People's Choice Award. Precious expression :D My daughter has that SAME minnie cap! lol Oh I don't know about 'desperate'. My 17 year old and I very often dress alike unknowingly. We walk out of our rooms and burst into laughter because we 'did it again'. Both being stubborn asses we refuse to change and just run errands looking like twins. We are a mother and daughter team who have much in common and adore each other. Oh f* well. Sucks to be the hater. :P

@ DontHateThePlayer @kissmestupid You are both correct with the photo ops. They either bring them or their camps call them. The just don't hang around Disneyland!

You can't "just hang around" Disneyland to take pictures of any celeb/artist. My oldest has worked at Disney for over 15 years and it is not allowed. It is a safety issue for all especially the youngers. Witherspoon took her brother and his two daughters. They had a tour guide so there would be no standing in lines and they (Toth) had a photog there to take pictures. It is a shame that her and Toth do these kind of things when her and Ryan's kids are around. These pictures should have never been let out to the media especially the one with Ava's expression. Witherspoon and Phillippe were just there for Deacon's Birthday and only 1 photo came about and it was taken from another patron that sent it in. Phillippe does not and will not allow this type of activites go on. Witherspoon needs to go back to parenting classes and Toth, well he is just all about money and doesn't care how it gets it! I have a problem when ANYONE and I don't care WHO it is, uses their kids to make themselves feel and look better! PATHETIC if you ask me!

True. I loathe my 'mother'. I just don't think it's as intentional as people think. I'd hate to be a famous mother. Mothering is hard enough without the critiques.

@jann_black Paps most certainly are not allowed in Disneyland. I happen to know that this photographer had to obtain a press pass and state their purpose. It was all very official and planned. @arrowstraite Not everyone is you and your daughter but, yes, that response was the one Reese was trying to evoke. "She's just like us!" Like I said, desperate.

How desperate is someone for attention that they hire a photographer to follow them and their children around Disneyland? Desperate enough to dress like her 12 year old daughter. Knowing that her picture is being taken, you'd think Reese would stand up straight and not slouch.
