Reese Witherspoon braved a blustery afternoon in NYC with a smile yesterday. Wearing the same shades and grin, Reese caught a flight from LAX Tuesday night and stepped out on the East Coast yesterday looking fresh-faced. She showed off her legs in black tights and booties and kept warm in a peacoat as she made her way inside an office building.

Reese's 2-month-old baby boy, Tennessee James, wasn't along for the trip, but he was surely on her mind. It was announced today that March of Dimes will honor Reese for being a model celebrity parent. She's set to receive the Grace Kelly Award on Friday at the organization's event in Beverly Hills, CA.
