Rob Schneider wants to be a part of all the craziness so he took out a full page ad in Variety saying he would never work for Mel. Of course this is really just a clever way for him to promote his upcoming projects.

Regardless of whether he was drunk or not, these aren't statements that came out of nowhere. Gibson's father is notoriously known for denying that the Holocaust happened. Rob Schneider might not be the most famous actor, but he's entitled to an opinion and I think what he's doing is right. I've known people who swore off Mel Gibson movies many years ago when it first surfaced he was anti-semitic. Now it's just more plain to see.

He was JOKING! I don't think anyone who has commented can see that he was being ironic. He was basically making fun of the whole situation, more specifically people in the hollywood communtity who have tried to rally people into never seeing any of Mel Gibson's projects. For example, that producer Bernie B. who has written a letter, probably in that same magazine asking everyone to give Mel hell. Where was everyone when Mel had rather rude comments about gays, and now they get mad because he dissed the Jewish faith? How transparent are people in hollywood and the rest who are mad at Mel. I think this is the only time someone is going to get more flack for saying a racist remark, while drunk, than actually driving under the influence! Open up your eyes people on Popsugar and see how funny Rob was. Even near the last sentence " I don't get to call all the shots!" Shots people! He would kill to work with Mel, because the man is almost worth 1 billion. And money always trumps.

I found it interesting that Rob had no problem doing a Disney flick though. I wonder if he drives a Ford?

This dude is such a loser.. geezus. And this whole Mel Gibson ordeal is ridiculous. Yes he made some screwed up comments and offended a whole lot of money in Hollywood, but he said it to a few cops in private while he was WASTED.. it's not like he held a press conference to voice his opinions?! He apologized so I say LET IT GO. Beyond that I don't watch movies because of the producer, director, or actors fuzzy feelings about Jews or anything else.. It shouldn't have anything to do with his career, celebrity or not!!

I think this is so dumb. Who cares about what Rob Schneider thinks? What a waste of money and a bad attempt at publicity for his new, guaranteed dumb, moive, IMHO. I am sick of the Mel story! ~D

Rob Schneider has a bad rap in Hollywood. I read that Tom Hanks and a lot of big time A listers did not want him to have a SAG card , since his materual has been not SAG worthy.

Oh my GOD! This is horrible! Atrocious! How will Mel ever again function normally after reading this truly devastating announcement. They're gonna put him on a suicide watch, I know it! Moron.

Im not agreeing with what Mel said, but I think that Rob Schneider only wrote this letter for his own publicity. If he's going to write public letters it should be an apology for making The Animal.

And actually, a lot of Sugars have been thinking that Jews were a race, too. And calling Mel racist when he's actually anti-semitic. Just as bad, but goes by a different name. no one seems to want to let the man atone for shit! i thought this was Americans who the hell is rob Schneider, i hope his little publicity stunt back fires, i for one will not see any of his movies,anyone who tries to make a bad situation in to a a personal gain can kiss my butt, he sucks as an actor any way, his movies are irritating, and so is he!
