One Billion Rise Up to Fight Violence Against Women

On Valentine's Day, women around the world rallied, danced, protested, flash mobbed, and spoke out in a global day of action to end violence against women.

On Valentine's Day, women around the world rallied, danced, protested, flash mobbed, and spoke out in a global day of action to end violence against women. The worldwide campaigns were instigated by One Billion Rising, an organization that hopes to stop abuse against women. The name refers to the one billion women who have survived abuse and the number of women the organization asks to support them. The worldwide event — called V-Day — celebrated its 15th anniversary yesterday and urges our gender to "walk out, dance, rise up, and demand an end to this violence."

Famous women like Rosario Dawson, Anne Hathaway, Thandie Newton, Marisa Tomei, Jane Fonda, and Glenn Close attended V-Day events in cities that included London, Hollywood, and New York, while women young and old took to the streets of India, China, Bangladesh, Mexico, Poland, and other countries to stand up for the cause. See the beautiful, joyous photos of this important international campaign now!

Golden Globes Beauty: Natural Makeup

For some, a big red carpet appearance means pulling out all the stops when it comes to makeup.

For some, a big red carpet appearance means pulling out all the stops when it comes to makeup. But others, like Anne Hathaway, Rosario Dawson, and Sienna Miller, opt for a more natural palette. This trend was widespread on the carpet for the Golden Globes, and the women who rocked it wore it proudly. What do you think of the natural makeup look for big award show like the Globes?

Golden Globe Awards: Rosario Dawson

Rosario Dawson attended the Golden Globe Awards in a powder blue gown, adorned with cap sleeves and a ruffled peplum-accented waist.

Rosario Dawson attended the Golden Globe Awards in a powder blue gown, adorned with cap sleeves and a ruffled peplum-accented waist. The soft hue is fabulous, but we especially love the juxtaposition of the futuristic cut of the sleeves and the romantic fluidity of the ruffles. For jewels, the actress chose Lorraine Schwartz earrings and ring, then completed her pastel number with a sparkly silver clutch. Are you into Rosario's look?

Rosario Dawson took her bikini and her boyfriend, Danny Boyle, on vacation in Barbados on Friday. Rosario, 33, wore a red and black mismatched two-piece while she floated around with Danny, who is 56, and friends on a colorful ferry called Yessiree. The couple reportedly started dating after he cast her in his new film, Trance, which is expected to be released later this year. Danny and Rosario went public with their relationship in August, when they were spotted kissing in England shortly after Danny wrapped his much-watched opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Channing and Jenna Get Cute at a Busy Brunch For Their New 10 Years

Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan, joined their 10 Years costars yesterday morning in NYC for a special brunch at the Hotel Chantelle.

Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan, joined their 10 Years costars yesterday morning in NYC for a special brunch at the Hotel Chantelle. Along with Channing and Jenna, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty, Max Minghella, Kate Mara, Ari Graynor, and Rosario Dawson stepped out to mingle at the meal. Channing and Jenna aren't the only real-life couple who worked on the film — Kate and Max are also dating! 10 Years opened in limited release last Friday, and the star-studded cast continues to throw their weight behind the high-school-reunion-themed film.

We caught up with Channing and Jenna before they chowed down on their meal, and they told us about their own experiences as teenagers. Channing skipped his own high school reunion, but says he knows their movie is still true to life. Jenna described her high school years as typically Texan, but with the addition of dance class every night. The training served her well — it was on the set of the dance flick Step Up that she and Channing first got together.

10 Years: A Reunion to Come Home For

He's played an undercover cop, a hopeless romantic, and a stripper in 2012, and Channing Tatum is adding to his banner year with another memorable performance in 10 Years.

He's played an undercover cop, a hopeless romantic, and a stripper in 2012, and Channing Tatum is adding to his banner year with another memorable performance in 10 Years. Tatum is part of an ensemble as Jake, a man returning to his hometown for his high school reunion. Not only does the film provide its fair share of belly laughs, but it also paints a bittersweet portrait of what all those archetypes from our favorite teen comedies (the ones where someone's trying to lose their virginity at prom) might be up to 10 years later. All the players are still the same, but this time around, the cruel jock (Chris Pratt) is attempting to make amends with the geeks he beat up in high school, the popular girl's (Lynn Collins) life is no longer one to envy, and everyone is struggling to reconcile who they used to be with the people they've become.

Jake's on-the-brink-of-engagement relationship with his girlfriend Jess (Jenna Dewan) is the primary focus of the movie, but it's just one of the dynamics on display throughout the night. The couple arrives in town for a preparty at old high school royalty Sam (Ari Graynor) and Cully's (Chris Pratt) house. Now living in the 'burbs with kids and a mortgage, their life is far from the homecoming court of yesteryear. One of the things that I appreciate about this movie is that it could so easily slide into a superficial trip down memory lane, but instead it plays up the realism. It's evident that despite their popular past, Sam and Cully aren't content with the paths they've taken, and they're not the only ones. 10 Years hits theaters on Sept.

10 Years hits theaters on Sept. 14, and we have an exclusive clip! The comedy boasts an impressive cast, featuring real-life couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, along with Justin Long, Rosario Dawson, and Chris Pratt. It's the first time Channing and Jenna have acted together since 2006's Step Up.

The film kicks off when a group of former high-school friends come together for their reunion and confront what has changed — and what hasn't — since their teen years. Channing stars as Jake. He's preparing to propose to his longtime girlfriend, played by Jenna, on the eve of the reunion, but when he runs into his former high-school flame, he finds himself questioning what could have been.

10 Years Trailer: Channing Tatum's High School Reunion

Channing Tatum's mug has been all over the big screen in 2012, and he's back once again in 10 Years.

Channing Tatum's mug has been all over the big screen in 2012, and he's back once again in 10 Years. Don't expect a big blockbuster opening this time, though; the little indie dramedy looks more like the kind of film you'll ultimately watch when it comes out on DVD. It's not that the trailer is terrible: 10 Years has an amazing cast, which includes Jenna Dewan, Justin Long, Ari Graynor, Rosario Dawson, Chris Pratt, and Aubrey Plaza, as just a few of the former students (and their significant others) that are catching up at their reunion. The problem is that the trailer is wholly unremarkable. The comedic parts are just mildly charming, and the dramatic parts seem overly cheesy.

Tatum is at the core of a story as a guy who's moved on and fallen in love after high school (with his real wife, Dewan), but obviously still has some leftover feelings for his high school love (Dawson). The rest of the pack seem to be a mixed bag of people who have changed and others who have never really moved on from their teenage years. The movie hits theaters on Sept. 14, so check the trailer when you read more
