There's no question that skin-to-skin contact can have positive nurturing effects on a newborn. But for a busy mom (especially one with older kiddies to run after), it can be hard to find the time to kick back with your new baby on your bare chest. This was the inspiration for the NüRoo Pocket, a cleverly designed top that allows you to hold your little one close to the skin, kangaroo style.

Last week, new mom Rosie O'Donnell posted a pic of herself wearing the NüRoo Pocket with baby Dakota tucked cozily inside. Available exclusively at Babies 'R Us, the baby-wearing shirt retails for $60 and comes with a support belt. According to Nuroo.com, positioning baby on your bare chest for an uninterrupted 60 minutes triggers a hormonal cascade that can benefit both the baby — accelerating brain development, decreasing crying and stress, and enhancing the immune system, to name a few — and the mom, reducing the risk of postpartum depression, speeding up recovery time, increasing milk production, and improving psychological well being.

And last night in a candid — and even at some points emotional — interview with Rosie O'Donnell on The Rosie Show, Chelsea gave her refreshingly honest opinions regarding sex and relationships, and even discussed her abortion at 16. She explained that to her being sexually free isn't about sleeping around, even describing her sexual life as "conservative" since in her 30s she only has sex in monogamous relationships. Chelsea went on to emphasize that she's not judgmental about sex, saying, "I think that everyone should be having it as much as they want." Watch the clip now.

George Clooney attended the National Board of Review Awards gala with girlfriend Stacy Keibler last night at NYC's Cipriani 42nd Street. Many other stars went out for the Big Apple event as well, include a Nina Ricci-wearing Keira Knightley and Emma Stone in J. Mendel.




George was on hand to pick up a best actor statue for The Descendants, and his leading lady, a L'Wren Scott-clad Shailene Woodley took home best supporting actress. We Need to Talk About Kevin's Tilda Swinton wore Haider Ackermann to accept best actress, and Emma Stone joined costars Octavia Spencer, Jessica Chastain, and Viola Davis onstage to collect their best ensemble film statue for The Help. Hugo, meanwhile, was crowned best movie. Michael Fassbender, who looked great in his suit, won a special spotlight award for the many films he starred in last year.

Park City was bustling with celebrities this weekend as the 2011 Sundance Film Festival got underway. Buzz is on top of the latest news on what movies everyone is talking about and which are getting picked up, and we were hitting the party scene and scoping out what the stars were up to. The Bing bar was a huge hot spot with events from the My Idiot Brother bash to a late night Florence and the Machine concert, while the Variety lounge hosted their share of talent. Skullcandy and Express held nightly concerts at Harry O's, James Franco let loose at the Playboy event, and Adrian Grenier enjoyed a Chefdance meal. There was a lot going on, and it's just the first couple of days, even Oprah is here! (In case you're counting, that's about 10 years of having the same haircut.) This got me thinking about other celebrities that have signed contracts with stipulations on their physical appearances. Rosie O'Donnell apparently was asked that she not cut her hair as part of her negotiations for The View back in 2006. And then there's the notorious boyish cut Keri Russell had in her Felicity days, which had a studio bigwig declaring, "Nobody is cutting their hair again on our network." Of course, these tales are all part of the Hollywood game. But if you were asked to sign a contract that put stipulations on your physical appearance, would you?

Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, also came out for the bash, and he spoke about his time trick-or-treating on Sunday. Back in the day, I was a big fan of The Rosie O'Donnell Show. I loved O'Donnell's use of the word "cutie patootie," the random incorporation of kooshballs, and the fun Broadway production numbers. But once she left her talk show and later cohosted The View, she lost her reputation (and many of her fans) due to her very outspoken opinions. When did the so-called "Queen of Nice" get so bitter?

But today, the OWN has announced that it's bringing back O'Donnell for a "a fun, uplifting show with Ms. O'Donnell's playful and energetic style." "Uplifting" is a promising term; hopefully that means we'll be seeing a departure from her darker View days, and a return to the Rosie we once knew and adored. But will you be tuning in to find out?
