SJP Battles the Elements in NYC While Shooting SatC

It was a real rainy Thursday and a fake snowy Saturday on the set of the Sex and the City movie for Sarah Jessica Parker. Carrie is known for her fun and daring outfits, but we have a feeling these looks in particular will upset those of you who are against fur. It may be all in the name of fashion and movie costumes, but for those of you who are so anti, does seeing this affect how much you want to see the movie?

nce she has been wearing this coat since season 1 or 2...something like that. if you're a fan or if you watch the show a lot, you would know that. this has always been a carrie piece

Sadly it DOES put me off seeing the movie. Thats so cruel & even if its is vintage, its promoting fur as being 'cool' which it is definately not.

I definitely care way more about how old she looks than issues of animal cruelty since I'm a vapid twat! FYI, fur coats are never made from already deceased animals. I've only seen bits and parts of different seasons, so I didn't know she wore fur in the series, I definitely won't see the movie if it's real. And as far as real fur being warm, when I ski, I wear a ski jacket, they are nice and warm too and made entirely of synthetic materials! It would just be nice if Carrie could promote fashion without promoting cruelty, definitely the ugliest thing she has worn yet.

If it's real fur I won't see it. Even if it's vintage it promotes wearing fur as glamorous.

If it is real fur, perhaps it was taken from an animal that was already deceased? What would the harm be in that? Either way, it won't discourage me from seeing the movie.

What does it matter if it is fur? When I'm freezing, fur is the only thing guaranteed to keep me warm. Knowing Patricia Field, she's using vintage fur.

I could care less about the fur thing... since I can't get past how old and haggard Carrie/SJP looks! I realize it is hard to accept that you are no longer the fresh face 25 year old... but someone in that makeup trailer should have forced her to update her look. Her makeup has been horrible in all the pictures from the set. Where as the other girls look so fabulous! Great clothes... good haircuts... Carrie just looks so old and dated... in ugly clothes.
