Teenage hockey fan Sam Tageson experienced a dream come true on Tuesday when he hit the ice with his favorite team, the San Jose Sharks. Since birth, Sam has dealt with a heart condition, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation joined forces with the Sharks to help his hockey wish come true. Sam signed a one-day contract with the team, and, after participating in their morning practice, he skated through the giant shark head and on to the ice before San Jose's game against the Florida Panthers.

"No way to top today," Sam told reporters. His mother, Lisa Mills, shared how much Sam has always loved the game. "They said he would be the child that would never ride a bicycle, never do any of that. He rides a skateboard. He plays hockey. The doctors all through the years have said give him golf clubs, take the hockey stick away. We tried. It doesn't work." Watch the moving clip of Sam's arena introduction above.
