James Franco was joined by lots of famous friends and family last night at the LA premiere of 127 Hours, just one day after he attended the film's NY red carpet. James, who plays hiker Aron Ralston in the movie, told us filming was extremely demanding and weighed in on the buzzed-about amputation scene. James thinks the gore has caused some people to faint because of the strong emotional connection they make to the real-life story. James's younger brother Dave Franco came to support his sibling, as did several stars of True Blood, Twilight's Kellan Lutz, and dad-to-be Orlando Bloom. Even with the impressive celebrity turnout, the spotlight was on James all night — his costar, Kate Mara, gushed to us that working with the multitalented star was simply "incredible." 127 Hours is out later this month and Buzz says it's among the November releases that may make you feel thankful this season.

Sam Trammell, who's come a long way in terms of career and hotness, stripped off his wetsuit to show off his abs after hitting the waves. The dramatic season three finale of True Blood aired last night and on it Sam's character took a turn for the dark side. Anthony Kiedis and One Tree Hill's Austin Nichols also tested the waters during the fun, athletic, shirtless guy-filled afternoon by the ocean.

True Blood newlyweds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer celebrated their first week of marriage partying with costars and friends at EW's pre-Emmy bash Friday night in LA. Sam Trammel was one of the lucky guests in attendance last weekend at Anna and Stephen's Malibu wedding ceremony, and he'll be on hand tonight with Rutina Wesley, Alexander Skarsgard, and the rest of the cast at the Primetime Emmy Awards. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer tied the knot last night during a ceremony in Malibu. The True Blood stars have been engaged since last August, and they hosted a big bash by the ocean to celebrate their marriage. After the ceremony, Stephen even went shirtless for his first married swim! Fellow cast members from their series, like Sam Trammell and Rutina Wesley, were on hand to witness their exchange of vows. Elijah Wood, who appears alongside Anna in The Romantics, was also there with his girlfriend. Anna wore a white halterneck dress and Neil Lane jewels for her big night — congrats to the newlyweds!

There was a whole lot of Comic-Con action going down in San Diego over the weekend. True Blood's Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were there on Friday to talk about their series, including the future of their characters' relationship. They also gave a teaser showing what's still to come this season on their show. Will Ferrell was there on behalf of his The Other Guys with Mark Wahlberg, who opened up to us about playing good cop with his kids. Their costar Eva Mendes also chatted with us about the great time she had being funny with the boys.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were there on Saturday for their Green Lantern panel, and his wife, Scarlett Johansson, later appeared with her Captain America costars like Robert Downey, Jr. Pregnant Ali Larter really showed off her baby bump at a Resident Evil: Afterlife press conference, and Natalie Portman kept the cameos coming while talking about her Thor. Kellan Lutz struck a pose at the Wired Cafe and showed off his new hat, while Scott Pilgrim vs. the World's Anna Kendrick hit up a Syfy channel party that night and Vanessa Hudgens partied with her fellow Sucker Punch actresses.
