Sarah Michelle Gellar gave her daughter Charlotte Prinze a lift as she took her to ballet class on Saturday in LA. Charlotte was sporting a leotard and a cute animal-print skirt for her latest dance lesson. SMG, who is expecting her second child, has been toting Charlotte to and from the studio frequently. Earlier this month, she and Freddie Prinze Jr. spent a day at the zoo with their little one. SMG seems to be enjoying her break from work, and although it was recently announced that her series Ringer won't be renewed for a second season, she has plenty to look forward to with a new baby on the way. Meanwhile, Freddie could potentially be back on TV in the Fall, having signed on to shoot a new pilot for NBC alongside Mena Suvari.

The whole Prinze family headed to the LA Zoo for an afternoon of fun last week. Sarah Michelle, who is pregnant with her and Freddie's second child, carried a camera while he held their daughter Charlotte. The group got a ride through the park on a golf cart and checked out a few animal exhibits before stopping to take photos at a lizard statue. SMG and Charlotte have been out and about multiple times this Spring while SMG is on a break from work. She should have more time to spend close to home now that her CW series Ringer was just canceled. There's plenty on the horizon for Sarah Michelle though, with the arrival of her next baby later this year.

Charlotte is getting ready to become a big sister after reports that SMG is pregnant with her second child made headlines last week. The busy mom recently wrapped the first season of Ringer, but left fans with a cliffhanger that will hopefully be resolved if a second season gets picked up. Until then, SMG and Charlotte should have plenty of time to hang together during SMG's break from filming.

The Gellar girls ran errands without Charlotte's dad, Freddie Prinze, Jr. Sarah Michelle and Freddie have been married since September 2002 and will celebrate 10 years married this Fall. They welcomed Charlotte nearly three years ago, on Sept. 19, 2009. Joking about an addition to their family, Sarah Michelle talked about getting a cat with us back in February. Since then, SMG has been busy with her TV show Ringer. The Ringer season finale airs next Tuesday on The CW, but there hasn't been a decision made yet about whether or not SMG and her leading men Kris Polaha and Ioan Gruffudd will be back for a second go-round.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was on hand at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA, this morning for Operation Shower. The actress played host at the event, which honored military moms whose husbands are currently deployed, and capped things off by giving each woman in attendance a new crib. The free furniture came from Pottery Barn Kids, the organization SMG was representing in her role today. We had a chance to chat with the Ringer star and mom during the festivities. Sarah Michelle told us it was the second baby shower she's thrown this week, having also hosted a soiree for her best friend, who joined her for today's celebration.

Many of the women in attendance today were expecting, and we asked Sarah Michelle if her 2-year-old daughter with Freddie Prinze Jr., Charlotte, has been asking for a little brother or sister lately. She told us her toddler is actually much more focused on bringing home a kitten than a new baby! Unfortunately, SMG told us she's allergic to cats but says a pet could still likely be the next addition to their family of three. Sarah Michelle Gellar stopped by the Late Show in NYC to chat with David Letterman about Ringer yesterday. She was just one of the famous faces to sit down with Dave, since Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning was also a guest on the show. SMG apparently tried to meet the NY Giant backstage, but told Dave that "his security wouldn't let me near him. It was weird. I was trying. I was like, 'No really, I'm just a big fan.' I think that's where I went wrong. 'I just want an autograph and a lock of his hair!' But they said 'no' Awkward." She continued press this morning with an appearance on The Covino and Rich radio show at SiriusXM Studios and a visit to Live With Kelly. SMG debuted new bangs during the trip, which coincides perfectly with tonight's new episode of the small screen drama.
