"We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."

The couple married in Mexico in 2005 and have four children together: Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2. Divorce papers will be filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court this week.

Heidi Klum and Seal are separating, they announced today in a joint statement. The revelation comes after a weekend full of rumors about an impending divorce for Heidi Klum and Seal. The couple met in 2003, married in 2005, and are parents to children, Henry, Jonah, Leni, and Lou.

Their statement reads:

While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal, and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.

Heidi Klum is reportedly considering filing for divorce from her husband, Seal. The couple, who are apparently weathering a "rough patch," have not released any comments about the rumors, and neither of their reps have released a statement. According to sources, Heidi would file as early as next week and sites irreconcilable differences.

Heidi and Seal vacationed with their family in Aspen over the holidays and looked like the picture of happiness. She stepped out solo to the Golden Globe Awards last weekend though, and looked lovely in a nude colored Calvin Klein gown. However, yesterday's event required more covering up — and fur! Heidi and her husband Seal were dressed as monkeys, and she tweeted that they were "mad happy!" The evening of socializing came after a nonstop day for notorious Halloween fan Heidi, who swung by Live With Regis and Kelly as well as Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to record special appearances. Many other celebs turned out for Heidi's event, including models Chrissy Teigen and Doutzen Kroes as well as a Toddlers and Tiaras-clad Fergie.

Seal brought along his camera and captured all the sweet moments during their afternoon outing. The fun didn't end at the patch, as Leni, Henry, and Johan changed into Indian costumes and headed off to a party. October is annually an exciting month for Heidi and Seal, who host one of Hollywood's spookiest soirees, though this year the celebration will be held in Las Vegas. When we spoke with Heidi at the launch of her fragrance, Shine, she wouldn't confirm if she'll be wearing another sexy Halloween costume, though she did say this year's outfit would be very "hairy."
