Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn Split

According to People, Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are divorcing. The couple has been together since the early 90s, married for eleven years and have two kids, who are 14 and 16. Their rep confirmed the sad news, but declined to comment any further at this time.

We always hate hearing about longtime couples breaking up, especially when there are children involved. Hopefully the family can keep things civil with the split.

As sad as I am to hear of the news, I'm sure they made the right decision for themselves and their family. Sometimes staying together is not always the best decision for everyone. JMHO.
