Donatella Versace gathered her famous friends and fans together last night at NYC's Pier 57 for the launch of her Versace For H&M collection. It was a huge event that featured a runway show of the colorful, studded designs in addition to a show from Prince and Nicki Minaj! Donatalla said on the black carpet that she was inspired to create the limited-edition line after seeing young people wearing vintage Versace, and that some of the patterns she used haven't been touched since her brother Gianni's death in 1997. Donatella's daughter Allegra Beck spoke with the press as well, saying she was hoping for a fun evening and that her favorite piece is the pink-studded frock.

Selma Blair was wearing Allegra's pick, and she stopped to chat about new motherhood. Her baby son, Arthur, was off at his hotel with a nanny named Polo, and she said motherhood is amazing — but that it's also hard, and people don't really dwell on that fact. Steven Dorff told us that he's had so many fun nights in Versace clothes, but he shouldn't really divulge what he got up to. Chace Crawford, meanwhile, revealed that his outfit was picked out by the kind people at Versace, and Chloe Moretz gushed for a moment about the joys of working with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton on Dark Shadows. Jessica Alba, Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, and Abbie Cornish were among the other stylish ladies to check out the bash. Sandra Bullock wore a sequined All Saints mini to attend last night's amfAR Inspiration Gala at LA's Chateau Marmont. She was joined on the black carpet by industry friends like her agent, Kevin Huvane. She shared space on the photo line with other leading ladies like Selma Blair and Garcelle Beauvais, and once inside, mingled with pals like Sean Penn and Colin Farrell, who brought his sister Claudine Farrell as his date. Kevin Huvane bought a Warhol painting for Sandra's son Louis during the evening's auction portion. Sandra joked about Kevin's buying Warhol's "Peaches" print for $14,000 while onstage addressing the crowd and paying tribute to Elizabeth Taylor. Sandra said, "I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f-cks and gifting my son with his first Warhol."

Sandra's back on the West Coast following a recent stay in NYC, where she joined best bud Ryan Reynolds to celebrate his 35th birthday. Ryan Reynolds brought girlfriend Blake Lively along for the bash at the club The Box, but the couple have now also left the Big Apple. Blake and Ryan are in Boston together, so he can continue working on R.I.P.D. with Jeff Bridges.

Rachel Zoe showed her cute and inquisitive son Skyler the sights with dad Rodger Berman close by at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in LA on Sunday. Rachel took a short break from her own little one to coo over Selma Blair's baby boy Arthur, who was born at the end of July. Yesterday, Rachel also had a big announcement for fans of the Zoe Report — she's launching both accessories and beauty product based spin-offs of her daily newsletter this week. Ali Larter didn't bring along her son for the event while Jamie King, who has talked about wanting kids, had her husband as her date for the day. Lauren Conrad and best friend Lo Bosworth posed together for the cameras. Lo recently celebrated her 26th birthday and Lauren has her own exciting news this Fall. Lauren Conrad is reportedly dating Derek Hough, and the two were spotted out partying together just last Thursday.

The star-studded action at the Venice Film Festival continued over the weekend with Michael Fassbender stepping back into the spotlight Sunday for a Shame photo call alongside director Steve McQueen. Michael, who was before the cameras last week showing of Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method, changed out of his jeans and flip-flops to hit the red carpet for a premiere that night. James Franco was also busy that afternoon doing press for his movie Sal with costar Val Lauren. Yesterday, Selma Blair showed her postbaby body at a photo call, where she wore a green number from Roland Mouret and premiere for Dark Horse. Colin Firth lent his glamour to the proceedings at events for Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy, and his wife Livia was on hand for a special screening. Livia blogged about the evening for Vogue UK, saying she was more nervous than usual since she wore a dress of her own design.
