Jude Law  and a Band of Outsiders-clad Rooney Mara teamed up in NYC last night for a special screening and Q&A session for their new Steven Soderbergh film, Side Effects. Rooney and Jude were joined by Steven himself, as well as their costar Vinessa Shaw and screenwriter Scott Z. Burns. Missing from the panel, though, were leading man Channing Tatum  and Catherine Zeta-Jones .
It was a busy day for both Rooney and Jude. He managed to also fit in a stop by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon . Jude and Jimmy reminisced about their first fights as children and chatted about Side Effects, which arrives in theaters Feb. 8. In particular, Jude gushed about Rooney, whom he referred to as "a very cool lady" and a "great actress." Rooney, meanwhile, had a family night. She stepped out to support sister Kate Mara at her debut of the new Netflix series House of Cards .
