E-Value: 7/10
Plot : 7.5/10
Acting: 6.5/10(Elizabeth Olsen), 6.0/10(Adam Trese and Eric Sheffer Stevens)

A teenage girl, Sarah(Elizabeth Olsen) with his father, John(Adam Trese) owned an old abandoned house which located somewhere at secluded country side. They plan to renovate the house in order to sell it. Sarah’s uncle, Peter(Eric Sheffer Stevens) swings by to give a hand on the renovation works.

But soon when Sarah is left all alone in the house while her father and Peter going out for errands, she starts seeing things and hearing noises of footsteps, thudding and ice cubes tinkling.

Could it be break-in, or something else happening..?

I love dark story, always do but the literal projected pitch black visual effects is A BIG NO for me. Lucky me in Silent House that particular ‘no-no’ scenes (ala Quarantine and Rec) is snapped for a short period of time.

Although Silent House kicks off rough, the story picks right up at its pace and spot when the protagonist manages to escape from the house that locking her up, and stumbles upon her uncle Peter halfway through the alley.

Overall, Silent House is a good movie and also, not to mention a twist of end that defines the whole movie is all about!
