Naomi Watts was on hand to present good friend Simon Baker with the 2,490th Hollywood Walk of Fame star in LA on Thursday. The Oscar nominated actress wore a black and white checkered dress for the occasion and kissed the Mentalist actor before presenting him with the honor. He and Naomi costarred in The Ring 2 back in 2005 and since then have spent many family vacations together. The Mentalist creator and executive producer Bruno Heller was also a part of the ceremony and Simon's wife Rebecca Rigg and their kids Stella, Claude, and Harry were on hand for the special event as well. Naomi has been putting in quality time with her family during this final award season stretch and ran errands with her sons in Brentwood yesterday.
Drew Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman had prime seats to watch the LA Lakers take on the LA Clippers at the Staples Center on Friday evening. The duo sipped on beers and checked out the halftime dancers just a few feet away. It was the latest low-key date night for the new parents, who welcomed daughter Olive to the world in September. We've yet to see the little one, though Drew and Will have been able to squeeze in some romantic outings together. Drew is reportedly also working on a makeup line for Walmart set to launch in early 2013, so she's not slowing down careerwise either.
Kristen Stewart teamed up with Simon Baker to announce the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Cecil B. DeMille Award winner in Beverly Hills today. Kristen wore a gray Bec & Bridge dress for the event, which revealed that Jodie Foster would be the recipient of the prestigious honor at the Golden Globes in January.
It was an early morning for Kristen, who celebrated Halloween at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery with Robert Pattinson last night. They both wore masks for the party, though Kristen later changed into a pink wig. The duo partied with a costumed Katy Perry, but they weren't the only ones that dressed up for the holiday. Jennifer Garner and her family went as characters from Wizard of Oz to trick-or-treat in Malibu while Gwen Stefani took Zuma out for candy in London.
Nina Dobrev joined her handsome Vampire Diaries costars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley last night at the closing ceremony for the Monte Carlo Television Festival. Since arriving in France, the trio have been busy promoting their series and addressing the ways in which their show is connected to Twilight and True Blood. Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, and Jenna Ushkowitz from Glee also hit the red carpet along with Cougar Town's Busy Philipps and The Mentalist's Simon Baker. Jenna and Kevin left Jane at their hotel this morning, though, when they hit the beach for a rather cozy-looking swim. Simon had a similar idea, bringing his family along for a day of soaking up the sun in the South of France.

The star of The Mentalist was on the beach in the South of France today with his wife, Rebecca, and their kids, Stella, Claude, and Harry. Their family navigated the rocky sand for some snorkeling and sun this afternoon after Simon attended the Monte Carlo TV Festival. He's enjoying vacation time before getting back to work on his show, which was picked up for a third season. Simon's day in the water could also have been for research purposes, as he's lined up a role in a surfing project called Breath.
Tonight's Grammy Awards brought out the leading men of music and many of their lovely ladies. The red carpet was busy with bands like The Black Eyed Peas and solo artists like Adam Lambert, while happy couples like Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman and Katy Perry and Russell Brand stuck close together — click through to see all the rock stars!
George Clooney's star-studded Haiti telethon wasn't the only place celebrities donated time this weekend — the organization Artists for Peace and Justice hosted an event yesterday at director Paul Haggis's home in Santa Monica to raise money for the devastated nation. Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were among the many famous hosts, and she ditched her fancy SAG Awards fashion for something more casual. Charlize Theron, Josh Brolin and Demi Moore were also among those who headed out to donate while taking in performances from Moby, Sheryl Crow and more.

David Beckham kept himself occupied last night while watching the Lakers take on the Houston Rockets in LA. His usual basketball companions Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz didn't go along for the game, though they did have some fun family time earlier in the weekend watching David play with his own team. Victoria is off for another trip to Europe, leaving her four boys back home in California. She's rumored to be working on a new modeling agency with her manager Simon Fuller, and Blake Lively just may be their first hire.
