Meanwhile, It's 65°F in Sochi

The weather simply will not cooperate. New York City is practically a snow globe, frozen highways in the South look like the apocalypse struck, and it refuses to rain enough in drought-stricken California. And in Sochi, the Winter Olympics feel more like the Spring Olympics. This week, temperatures rose to 65°F, turning snow into a mushy, mashed-potato-like substance. With some athletes blaming the conditions for poor showings, officials are readying snow they've stored up over the past year in case temperatures don't drop. Luckily, after a few days of sunny weather, the forecast does show a 10°F dip. Until then, check out the Winter resort town that looks more like a Summer getaway spot right now.
