Sofia Coppola, her fiancé, Thomas Mars, and their oldest daughter, 5-year-old Romy Mars, celebrated the Festa di San Bernardino in Matera, Italy, last night. Sofia was presented with a special honor by the Lucania region's officials and had her brother Roman Coppola by her side as they enjoyed an evening out. The family is counting down the days to Sofia and Thomas's wedding, which is taking place in the small town of Beranda this Saturday. Sofia first met Thomas when they worked together on The Virgin Suicides soundtrack in the late '90s, and the pair have been collaborators in both work and love for six years. They welcomed their second daughter, Cosima, last May, and Thomas's band Phoenix has provided music for several of Sofia's films, from Lost in Translation to Somewhere. The pair's Saturday nuptials in the gardens of Palazzo Margherita are expected to be an intimate affair for close friends and family, with lots of free-flowing wine from her and her father Francis Ford Coppola's vineyards!
