From the underdog winning streak to the crazy afterparties, the Emmy Awards certainly made for a memorable night in Hollywood. We've rounded up the best pictures from the evening, including quite a few moments you may not have seen during the telecast, like Sofia Vergara's sexy dance with Eric Stonestreet, Matt Damon's 30 Rock reunion with Tina Fey, Aaron Paul's photobomb of Bryan Cranston, and Jon Hamm's game of hide-and-seek with Elisabeth Moss.
Sofia Vergara solidified her status as one of the most vivacious women in Hollywood when she took over the Emmy Awards on Sunday night. From the second she arrived on the red carpet in her stunning, figure-flattering Vera Wang gown, it was obvious that whether or not she took home a trophy, Sofia would still make it a night to remember. While Sofia was nominated for her fourth consecutive year as outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for her role as Gloria Pritchett-Delgado in Modern Family, she lost out to Nurse Jackie star Merritt Wever. In any case, Sofia did make a sizzling appearance when she took over the stage to present an award with funnyman Jimmy Kimmel, and also left her cares on the dance floor when she tore it up with family, friends, and costars at the HBO and Fox Emmys afterparties. The Primetime Emmy Awards took over LA yesterday, but only half the fun was seen on the small screen! We're rounding up the night's highlights that didn't make it into the broadcast, from Tina Fey and Julia Louis-Dreyfus's press room hilarity to the afterparty hijinks that kept Sofia Vergara's social media accounts very, very busy.
The Emmys are officially over, and that means that it's time to party! The HBO Emmys afterparty brought out all the big names in Hollywood last night, including the network's big winners like Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale, The Newsroom's Jeff Daniels, and the cast and crew from Behind the Candelabra, including Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana. Lena Dunham also dropped by the bash to mingle with her parents and cuddle up to friend Claire Danes, who won the award for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for Homeland. Other guests included Sofia Vergara, who stirred up a scene on the dance floor when she started to show off her killer moves, Kerry Washington, and Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, who changed out of her Prada gown into a more boogie-friendly dress. Modern Family won its fourth Emmy for best comedy series this evening, which means it's tied for the second most wins ever. The show's creator, Steve Levitan, reflected on the stat this evening once the cast got back to the press room. Steve also talked about his amazing cast and how humbled he is to be among the the greats. Sofia Vergara also spoke a little Spanish and revealed her process for picking this red-hot Emmys number.
If there's one thing we can count on with Sofia Vergara, it's red carpet sex appeal. The Modern Family actress turned up in a red Vera Wang gown that hugged every curve of her bombshell figure. And when its subtle lace texture, cleavage-bearing neckline, and dramatic fishtail weren't enough, unmissable Lorraine Schwartz jewelry dazzled in a complementary green hue. If one thing's for certain, it's that all eyes go to Sofia on the carpet.

When it comes to sexy beauty, leave it to Sofia Vergara to bring it. At the 2013 Emmys, the Modern Family actress didn't just wear any old smoky eye; she took it to a whole new level of sultry by thickly winging out her liner to the side. And to finish her look, Sofia styled her long, caramel-highlighted strands in soft, cascading waves.
