Spankin New Firing Week: TRL Still in, Minnillo Out

Rumors of TRL's demise may have been greatly exaggerated, but that doesn't mean our lovable cast of VJs are all in the clear -- I'm looking at you, sweet cheeks Minnillo. Yes, Nick Lachey's arm candy/potty mouth may be getting the ax. Rumblings of her diva-like behavior have been around for a while, and if you watch the show (you know, not that I do...or anything), you might notice that she's been around less and less these days. Perhaps this the best thing for Vanessa, as she'll be able to focus all her energy on being the best girlfriend (fingers crossed, wife) EVER! Yay! At least it's nice to know that Damien and Suzy still have their jobs, for now.

I haven't watched TRL since Carson stopped hosting. It's just not the same, it was his show. It's like when a major character dies on a show and they try to keep doing the show - it doesn't work!

If she IS out, then it's because she's become a bigger "name" than the show. MTV wants its VJs and hosts to be famous within the scope of MTV and not for outside reasons. I neither like nor dislike Vanessa Minnillo, but she's not playing the MTV game, so I wouldn't be surprised if she did get the boot.

she seems as insecure as jessica to me. very whiny and clingy..i think she is an emotional mess. she did a piece on ET and she could not stop crying. it bordered on obnoxious. nick would be very, very dumb to marry this train wreck.

I think she's really pretty and I can't say I don't like her because the publicity thing just started for her and there really isn't any proof that she's a biotch, and I'm not gonna dislike her just because she's with Nick Lachey and getting her 15 mins of famr. If anything I think she deserves it since she's easy on the eyes unlike that dumb unattractive twat Nick was married to.

I don't like her either. I just don't trust her. I think she is using Nick to become more famous. She has been everywhere lately - the golden globes, the grammys. She is only a TV presenter!

I do not like her.I agree that there is something about her that can just does not seem honest.As for as keeping our fingers that she becomes nicks wife,i hope he does not make amistake.He seems like a good person i am rooting for him to finfd the right person,but she is not it.If she is a diva to work with just imagine what kind wife she would be.
