Suri Cruise had an animated conversation on an iPhone today in NYC after leaving breakfast with Katie Holmes. The mother and daughter stopped at The Cookshop in Chelsea before taking off on foot with shopping bags in hand.

Katie and Suri have been spending much of their time near their Manhattan neighborhood in the wake of Katie's divorce from Tom Cruise. Tom has also made a point to clock quality time with his youngest daughter, and the duo even made a trip to Disneyworld together in August, where they made a splash at the Blizzard Beach theme park. Tom and Katie are both reportedly making their best effort to move forward following their split, with Katie reconnecting with old friends and Tom focusing on his work. Most recently, he's been shooting All You Need Is Kill in London opposite Emily Blunt.
