Target Buys The New Yorker

No, the super store is not the actually buying the magazine, but they are sponsoring the entire Aug 22nd issue with about 18 ad pages. It is an estimated $1.1M investment for Target but now with PR mentions as well, I'm sure Target is getting more than they wished for. NY Times reports this is a first for the 80 year old magazine as Target continues to break the ad barrier of cool. Gotta love the bullseye!
